Just a quick note on freebies: The first Comet Cove mystery, SCOOP AND SCANDAL, is free to members of the Cozy Mystery Book Club this month. It’s not free anywhere else. Sign up for the club, and you’ll get the link to download your copy. The site also has Zara Keane’s interview with me this month. We had a lot of fun chatting about everything from the Bohemia Bartenders Mysteries to my storm-chasing expeditions.
Scoop and Scandal is the first novel in the Comet Cove Mysteries, where mystery meets romantic comedy. In cozy Florida beach town Comet Cove, rival reporters chase a huge celebrity scoop after a boat explodes in the Atlantic. She wants a serious story. He wants glitz and gossip. The problem is, they just might want each other. (Book 2, Pen and Peril, is out, and I expect Book 3, Ink and Infamy, to publish next year.)
I’m part of the Cozy Mystery Book Club this year with eleven other fabulous authors … Nikki Haverstock, Carly Winter, M.R. Dimond, Shéa MacLeod, Kate P Adams, Alyn Troy, Libby Howard, Lucy Carol, Zara Keane, Anne R. Tan, and Traci Andrighetti. Members get exclusive giveaway books each month.
How it works: At the beginning of each month, we send our book club subscribers the link to grab your book. In the middle of the month, we send an interview with the author. You’ll immediately receive this month’s ebook when you sign up. You’ll also be added to each author’s newsletter. You can opt out of these at any time. If you’ve already signed up, please check your email for the link.
