If you know me at all, you know I love a good road trip. My love of being on the road might explain why I love storm chasing, too. There’s nothing like loading up my cameras and road snacks and wandering wherever the wind takes me. Or wherever there’s a great roadside attraction. Or a fabulous cocktail bar or bookstore.
My Bohemia Bartenders Mysteries are very much travel mysteries, since Pepper Revelle and her mixologist friends travel to various locales for their gigs. I love exploring new places and using those authentic details in my books.
So I’m thrilled to join a new Cozy Mystery Road Trip with about a hundred other authors. It’s a virtual adventure and a great way to discover cozy mysteries set all over the U.S. Won’t you join us? You can go in order or start wherever you want — like Florida, where several of my mysteries take place. My Wrecked by Rum, for instance, is set at a tiki convention in Fort Lauderdale, where the murder of a high-profile rum collector has Pepper scrambling to find the culprit while squeezing approximately ten thousand limes, dodging her ex-boyfriend, crushing on fellow bartender Neil, and keeping her darling Cavapoo from scarfing too many garnishes.
